Drink Recipe: Pink Joni Paradise

Take a shot of Southern Comfort, pour into a tall glass over ice, then top with a half & half mixture of Cherry 7-up and Rasberry Ginger Ale. Then garnish with a green cherry and a pineapple chunk on a paper umbrella. A bendy straw would be a nice touch.

This drink was named after my wife, and was popular as the martini at Martin-I's Lounge. Enjoy!

The Perfect Martini According to Hawkeye

“I’m pursuing my lifelong dream of the finest, driest martini that can be found on this or any other world, and I think I hit upon the perfect formula. You take six jiggers of gin, and you drink it while staring at a picture of Lorenzo Schwartz, the inventor of vermouth.” - Capt. Benjamin Franklin “Hawkeye” Pierce

Introduction

This blog is a memorial for one of the great cocktail parties that ever graced the Chicagoland Science Fiction/Fantasy/Horror convention circuit: Martin-I's Lounge.
This will feature old party flyers, pictures, cocktail recipes, and other odds and ends relating to Martin-I and the parties, as well as to lounge and cocktail culture. Stay tuned, lounge lizards!
